Log Processing in Our Sawmill
At Norbaservice, coniferous logs are processed efficiently to maximize material use and minimize waste. Once the bark is removed, each log is carefully cut and separated into valuable wood products. From 100% coniferous wood, the processing output typically includes:
- Sawn timber as the primary product
- Wood chips and sawdust generated during cutting
- Additional by-products that are recovered and reused within the wood and biomass value chain
This approach ensures that nearly all material from each log is put to productive use. Sustainability is central to our operations. Wood harvesting follows long-established principles that ensure forests regenerate naturally. Only volumes that can be sustainably replaced are used, allowing forest resources to grow over time.
